Every year, STKO organizes a recovery vacation for a group of children. They come to the Netherlands for almost two months in a safe, loving, child-oriented environment, where friendships are built and positive experiences are gained in various fields. They stay in carefully selected and functioning host families, who provide the necessary guidance to the children.
Where necessary and possible, the children are supported by professionals from youth care.

These projects are also organized under the responsibility of the Twenterand municipality.
